LOL, the first BBS software I ever tried was called Colossus. The interface reminded me of the Opus boards of that time. I never could
get it to answer the modem so I eventually chose GT Power.

Also, IIRC, there was a software developer back then called the Forbin Project. I wonder now if maybe that was the name of the development
group that created the Colossus BBS software, or if I am remembering it from some other package? :D

I did some digging - Chuck Forsberg created DSZ - the Zmodem transfer
tool, John Friel III created QModem, and his company *was* called The
Forbin Project.
