Has anyone gone down the meshtastic rabbit hole like I have LOL. Very cool tech for sure. I am going to install a mqtt gateway since I am in a area with very few nodes, I have a solar rf node now and a portable heltec v3 I use inside.

I certainly have. There are at least
    two different groups of Meshtastic
users in my town, on separate presets.
There are also some using Meshcore
    firmware instead.

So far, I have a RAK, Heltec V3, Heltec
    E190 (e-ink display), and a Seeed
Studio T1000e. Someone made a userport
interface to connect a node to a C64,
    too.

    Unfortunately my immediate area doesn't
get out to the rest of the city's mesh.
A local mqtt server would be pretty
    cool.

I have a Heltec V3, been puttering around with it. Not much progress
    made yet.

I built a WisBlock meshtastic node earlier this year. It was fun for a bit, especially at EAA Airventure this year.

Now the thing just sits in my truck, and I occasianally remember to charge it (the battery I jammed in there lasts nearly a month).

Meshtastic is a neat concept, but it really seems like a solution that's in search of a problem.

...File not found, I'll load something *I* think is interesting.
